Me me me me

Buckle up, we are about to get intimate. You lucky devil.

On the odd occasion I go on Pinterest – feel free to sell this to me as to why people use it – I have come across lots of pins that suggest good blog ideas for when you are having a mind blank. I think they are more aimed at those who want to drive and grow their blog, but I’m going to steal one of the ideas anyway. My recent posts have been rather deep and heart felt so I’m going to spice it up a bit today. Spice it up might be a bit of a stretch, don’t get too excited. Continue reading “Me me me me”

I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it!

If you don’t think of Elf when reading that, then I feel sad for you.
You don’t need to have seen Elf for the post, but it might help your life in general.

Read that exactly like Will Ferrell in Elf please.

I’m thinking, whenever I am feeling down I like to express it in a blog, most likely in an attempt to get it out my mind and understand it better. Plus it might help other people to know that they are not alone in their thoughts or struggles. Lately I have been experiencing another strong emotion – Love. So why not share that too?

This thing called Crazy, I just can’t handle it

It swings, it jives, it shakes all over like a crazy fish.
There goes my craaaazey mind, she knows how to make me cry.

I’m beginning to think this mental health business of mine isn’t like a cold, it’s not something that will just go away given time, and there’s certainly not a aisle full of remedies in the local supermarket. Bitches be crazy

According to the internet it’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and since I’m, well, mental, I thought I would chip in.

What do I have to say on the matter? I have a terrible confession. Sadly, I once believed that a certain mental health issue, depression, was a lot of bull! People feel sad? Like, eh why can they not just get over it and stop being moody. Granted, I was much younger when I thought this, late teens I think. I didn’t get it, couldn’t understand why a person would choose to be so dour faced (Scottish for sad/grumpy/miserable). They should pull their boot straps up and get on with it! Pressure

Pressure! Pushing down on me, pressing down on you, no (wo)man asked for

*crawls, only slightly, out from her negativity cave, opens laptop and tries to remember WP login details

I’v not been very active on here for the past week. When I started blogging, just over a month ago, I was all over it. Constantly thinking of blog ideas, writing notes, trawling through millions of blogs. I thoroughly enjoy reading other people’s blogs, even better, I was enjoying chatting via comments. Finally, I had something to think about other than my mental state. I immersed myself in my new found hobby, I’m fine. I’m totally kicking depression right up it’s arse.

Very good. I’m talking utter pish (Scottish for piss/crap/shit/lies). Continue reading “Pressure”
