You are more than a mum

Pick a camp ladies, will you be a part time mum to be a full time worker? Or a full time mum?
Dads need not worry, this doesn’t apply to you apparently.

There’s a term that has always bugged me, well before I squeezed a Jess out. That term is ‘full time mum’ or any of the yummy mummy alternatives. I’m not bashing, far from it, there’s only a hand full of people I would like to bash and mothers/parents are very far from the list, people who hog the middle lane of the motorway are right at the top. Please stop doing this, it drives me bloody mental.

What a terrible mother….

Aw hell naw!

Does everyone love hanging about with their kid every day, all day?

I love Jess to bits,I really do. I love her enough that if I hear a noise I will loudly thump my way down the stairs (the thumping obviously scares the bad man away) to scope out the place, checking the doors, kinnnda checking the bathroom – you know, like the bad man will be hiding in there waiting for his opportune moment when I’m doing a whiz and he’ll cut me into tiny pieces. If I hear a noise and Jess isn’t in, then I’ll pull the covers over my head and hope for the best.
