My body.

It’s an amazing thing. It grew and housed another human. It provided food for that tiny human. It expanded, it shrunk, it contracted. It really is a source of amazement – I’m pretty amazed at just how much weight I managed to gain and carry when I was pregnant. I took the guidelines of ‘expected’ weight gains and ate them along side my two lunches before my 3 course dinner. Being pregnant really was a great time (*rain check, other than eating like a hungry horse, no it wasn’t).

The Jess Song

I wrote a song for Jess, in no way shape or form is it inspired or a rip off of John Legend’s ‘All of me’ ….okay, it is. Just think yourself lucky I didn’t record me singing it! I recon I’m a good 1000 blogs away from becoming YouTube confident. Can you imagine the amount of bleeps I would need to add to cover my language?! Jesus, no. I’d need an 18 rating!

It’s best you have the tune of ‘All of me’ in your head before you read my ‘song’ – which I’m going to title….mmm, thinking….yup, ‘All of Jess’. Oft, telling you, if I don’t start winning award’s for my strokes of genius soon, well, there’s going to be a global outcry!

Pinterest – Help

I’m going to do it. I have put it off for so long. I feel like I’m missing out on the party. I’m going to delve into the blogging world of Pinterest.

Me me me me

On the odd occasion I go on Pinterest – feel free to sell this to me as to why people use it – I have come across lots of pins that suggest good blog ideas for when you are having a mind blank. I think they are more aimed at those who want to drive and grow their blog, but I’m going to steal one of the ideas anyway. My recent posts have been rather deep and heart felt so I’m going to spice it up a bit today. Spice it up might be a bit of a stretch, don’t get too excited.

Twitter is so mean!

When I created my blog I was sucked into the realm of growing your blog. I sat there for a while worrying that I had little to no followers or page views, I joined some facebook blogging groups, read some posts, did some research. The conclusion of all my researching is…..that I really can’t be arsed with the blogging rat race. I would very much like those who follow to do so, only if they like my blog. So my social media game is pretty poor, don’t even get me started with Pinterest.
