For what it’s worth. . . the reason I’ve been blogging for over 7 years is simply to amuse myself. If anyone else enjoys it, alll the better. With over 3,500 followers, I have made “friends” all around the world. My advice… don’t limit yourself and have fun. If it stops being fun, shut it down.

lol Honest K I’ve found myself feeling immature as well when I waste more time than I’d like to admit analyzing my site’s stats and visitors or gossiping in social networks instead of learning what my blog needs (infographic design, link building, seo, etc.) I started the blog with monetization in mind but as I’ve researched info to write my posts I have to agree with “village undertaker”. I’ve found that I’m enjoying what I’m learning even though the number of visitors don’t reflect it yet. The blog actually forces me to move my ass and learn useful things that I enjoy learning and applying. What I enjoy the most for now is writing and discovering new interesting things and designing graphics although I’ve not published anything yet (still learning to use Inkscape). Now my interest is moving a bit more towards the enjoyment part even if the posts I write seems somniferous and boring for most visitors haha 😀
Congratulations for your blog. It’s a pleasure to disconnect for a while reading your humour and watching pics of your daughter. Your blog makes people smile and go: awwww at the same time, not a bad combination. 😉

Thank you so much, that is very kind. I aim to make people laugh, whether I do or not is a different story. I like to write whatever I’m thinking about, I don’t think I’m cut out to structure an effective money making blog. I wish! 😊 I say just write what you like. I too enjoy learning all things blogging, even though half the time I’m usually fighting with the WP menus 😂 maybe I should work on that.
