Stuff I want you to buy me – Uncommon Goods

I pretty much do all my shopping online and I haven recently found a new site to add to my list of ‘things I want people to buy me’. But since no one buys me gift (apart from bffer who bought me 5 bath bombs this week!), I go and find all the best gifts to give to my friends. I like to find unique gifts for people online (translated as I’m too lazy to walk round shops) and there are plenty of unique/ different gifts for me..I mean, my friends on Uncommon Goods.

Or Jess, maybe Jess would like a gift or two. Like these adorable unicorn booties!! She might be a bit big for them now, I would have loved these when she was a cute, non speaking, little baby.  There’s so many quirky baby items that would be a perfect gift for an expectant couple. Or me, if Dave would just succumb to the idea of us having another kid.  I mean, look, just look how cute those letters to my baby are!Deary me, they have fortune cookie baby booties! Toooo caute! I’m a bit of a sucker for cute baby things, especially teenie tiny booties.

Right, I’ll calm down with the baby stuff. There’s plenty of treats for us ‘adults’ too. I’m right in the mist of baby and wedding season, everyone is either papping one out or they are making a loving commitment to another human, bleuh. So it’s a good idea to have some cool gifts up my sleeve, I find giving a personalized gift is the best way to secure future babysitters. I got my bffer and partner a personalized print as a house warming gift, although if I had seen this clock I might have been tempted!

I love bits and bobs around the home with a sentimental touch. There’s plenty more personalized items to pick from whether it’s for a anniversary gift, wedding gift or just as a treat for you.

I do really like their site. I wish I could list all the items I’m loving, but I won’t do that. I would be really happy if anyone gifted me something from the site…Actually, I’m the big 3.0 this year…..and it’s almost Christmas…so if you need an inspiration for what to buy me I’ll just leave a few things here…..you’re welcome 🙂

It’s a bonus feature that the company seems to have a strong moral compass, oh I wonder if they sell those, goodness knows I could do with one from time to time.  Their business practice is focused on providing good quality products whilst ensuring that their team members are provided with a fair wage and health insurance. They are committed to being as green as possible, most of their business is done online and if they do send out catalogs, they are made from recycled paper or paper sourced from the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council. My favourite point of Uncommon goods is that they don’t sell products containing fur or feather – I have seen videos of animals being skinned alive for it’s fur, it’s just horrific.
